WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- The Food and Drug Administration has weighed in with major drug companies in two California patient suits, ringing alarm bells among watchdogs who fear it shows a new pro-industry tactic. The moves come as FDA watchdogs worry the Bush administration is turning the FDA in a decidedly pro-industry direction.
