Gore hits Bush on economy

WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Former Vice President Al Gore said it was President George W. Bush's economic policies that are largely responsible for a critical drop in the U.S. economy that threatens a world depression. Gore spoke at the Brookings Institution Wednesday to an audience of economists and government officials.
