El Paso disagrees with FERC Calif ruling

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Officials at El Paso Corp. said Monday they disagreed with a judge's ruling at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, which said one of El Paso's subsidiaries, withheld pipeline capacity to push natural gas prices higher in California. The company said safety concerns govern how much gas flows through their pipes.
