Iraq resolution seeks OK for force

WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- The draft resolution on Iraq that the White House sent Congress Thursday seeks authorization for the president to "use all means that he determines appropriate, including force, in order to enforce" U.N. Security Council resolutions on Iraq and to defend U.S. national security interests theatened by Iraq.
