Convicted FBI agent sentenced to 10 years

BOSTON, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- A federal judge Monday sentenced a retired FBI special agent, who was credited with putting New England Mafia figures behind bars, to 10 years and one month in prison for racketeering and obstruction of justice. John Connolly, 62, was convicted of protecting two Boston informants from prosecution.
