Walker Lindh to serve 20 years in prison

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 (UPI) -- John Walker Lindh, the U.S. citizen arrested in Afghanistan where he was fighting for the ruling Taliban, will serve 20 years in prison as the result of a plea agreement announced Monday. Walker Lindh promised to cooperate with investigations and will withdraw all claims of mistreatment by U.S. military. He is to be sentenced Oct. 4.
