Informants plead guilty in fake drug case

DALLAS, July 10 (UPI) -- Two former police drug informants pleaded guilty Wednesday to federal civil rights charges in the planting of fake drugs on innocent Hispanics who were held in jail for months in some cases. The Dallas County district attorney has dismissed more than 80 cases because of the fake drug scandal being investigated by the FBI.
