Calif bishop blasts media 'feeding frenzy'

SANTA ROSA, Calif., March 25 (UPI) -- A Roman Catholic bishop in California used his Sunday sermon to scold the media for its "feeding frenzy" coverage of the ongoing child-abuse scandal sweeping through the church. Bishop Daniel Walsh of Santa Rosa said insinuations of a cover-up have created an atmosphere that "erodes trust and faith."
