Actress Ryder charged in shoplifting case

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Actress Winona Ryder was formally charged Friday with four felony counts stemming from an alleged shoplifting incident at a Beverly Hills department store. The movie star was ordered to appear for arraignment Feb. 8 on charges of grand theft, vandalism, burglary and possession of a controlled substance.
