Report: Ex-Enron official quits Texas post

DALLAS, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- A former Enron executive has resigned as chairman of the Texas utility regulatory agency amid pressure over the giant energy company's financial woes, The Dallas Morning News reported Friday. Republican Gov. Rick Perry appointed Max Yzaguirre to the Texas Public Utility Commission in June. The governor's office had no immediate comment on the report.
