U.S. taking threat seriously

WASHINGTON, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- The Bush administration doesn't believe the latest threat from Afghanistan can be carried out, but is taking it and all such threats seriously, a senior administration official said Thursday. The leader of the Taliban, Mullah Mohammad Omar, promised the "destruction" of the United States in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corp.
