Williams posted the 1:42 spot for Gatorade on her Twitter timeline Monday. She captioned it with: "There are so many reasons to quit, but even more to keep playing. Even if you don't go pro, sports can teach you so much. So keep playing. #sistersinsweat #gatoradepartner @gatorade."

The video begins with Williams holding her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. The baby was born in September.

"Baby girl, I won't mind if you play tennis badly," Williams said in the commercial. "I won't mind if you choose to never pick up a racket. But I beg you, in this game of life, please keep playing no matter what. Just like it taught me, sports will teach you to be strong. You'll discover the power and grace of your body. You'll learn to move and you'll learn the way to move others."

"Sports will teach you the strength of your allies, whether your bond is by blood or by ball. Whether she shares the color of your skin or color of your jersey. You'll find your sisters in sweat. Sometimes you'll score a goal, sometimes you won't. But the goal's you'll set, you'll reach together. You'll find the courage to stand tall, work harder, and speak louder on whatever playing field you choose in life. So keep playing my girl, keep playing."

The video features girls of all ages playing various sports, sweating and competing. They celebrate in triumph and cry in defeat. But they always keep playing. At the end of the video, the camera pans over pictures of CEO and designer Tory Burch, actress Allison Williams, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, Refinery 29 co-founder Piers Gelardi and Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Elaine Welteroth. The now-famous group of people are seen in photos from their youth, wearing jerseys from past teams.

"The lessons learned in sports will help you win beyond the field," the commercial says in the final scene. "Keep playing."

The commercial had Alecia Keys' Girl on Fire playing in the background.

Williams, who consistently torches her opponents on the tennis court, hasn't played since she beat sister Venus Williams in the Australian Open in January. She was pregnant at the time.

She was married last weekend to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Williams has been active on her Instagram account, posting photos of her Versace wedding gown and a photo of her mother holding her daughter.
