The scheduled French Open men's quarterfinal matches for Tuesday were pushed back one day to Wednesday due to persistent rain in Paris.
Second-seeded Serbian Novak Djokovic and sixth-seeded Austrian Dominic Thiem were slated to meet in one quarterfinal at Roland Garros with fourth-seeded Rafael Nadal facing No. 20 Pablo Carreno Busta in an all-Spaniard battle.
Those two matches join Wednesday's scheduled quarterfinals -- top-seeded Scot Andy Murray vs. eighth-seeded Kei Nishikori of Japan and third-seeded Swiss Stan Wawrinka against seventh-seeded Marin Cilic of Croatia.
Djokovic is the defending champion after beating Murray in last year's final. Nadal is a nine-time French Open champ.
