American Donald Young rallied from a break down in each of the last two sets to upend sixth-seeded Frenchman Adrian Mannarino 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (4) in the opening round of the Memphis (Tenn.) Open on Monday.
Young, who holds an ATP rank of No. 81, erased deficits of 4-2 in the second set and 2-0 in the third -- as well as 3-1 in the third-set tiebreak -- to defeat the 28-year-old Mannarino in 2 hours, 43 minutes.
