July 6 (UPI) -- Forwards Tobin Heath and Carli Lloyd each scored first-half goals to help the United States Women's National Team blow out Mexico in their final tune-up soccer match for the postponed 2020 Summer Games.

Center midfielder Lindsey Horan also scored in the 4-0 friendly win Monday at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn. All four scores came in the first half of the lopsided affair.

Horan drew first blood with a beautiful volley in the sixth minute. Lloyd received a chipped pass at the top of the box and headed the feed up the field for Horan. The midfielder used her first touch to rip a right-footed shot past Mexico goalie Itzel Gonzalez.

Lloyd doubled the lead less than 5 minutes later. Midfielder Sam Mewis sent a pass to left back Crystal Dunn on the left flank to spark that score. Dunn then sent in a first-touch cross through the box. The feed found Lloyd for a diving header into the net past Gonzalez in the 11th minute.

The third score of the game came off an own goal from Mexico defender Reyna Reyes. Heath fired a rocket off the cross bar to start that sequence. U.S. striker Christen Press then smacked a follow-up shot off Gonzalez. The ball ricocheted off Reyes' hand and into the net in the 37th minute.

Heath scored the final goal about 2 minutes later. Mewis stole the ball from Mexico and passed off to Heath into the box to set up that score. Heath used her first touch to curl a left-footed shot just inside the left post to beat a diving Gonzalez for the goal.

The win extended the Americans' unbeaten streak to 43 games, the second-longest such streak in team history. The U.S. women start play for the Summer Games against Sweden on July 21 in Tokyo. The Americans are favorites to win the title.
