Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Mohamed Salah got Liverpool rolling with a first half goal against Wolves on Friday at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England.

And it made it look stupidly simple. Salah netted the score in the 18th minute of the Reds' 2-0 victory. Fabinho did a quick give-and-go outside of the box with Sadio Mane at the start of the sequence. He then dribbled toward the end line, before ripping a pass toward the middle of the box.

Salah ran toward the pass and used the outside of his left boot to flick a shot into the far-post netting, beating Wolves keeper Rui Patricio.

The goal helped the Reds own a 1-0 edge at the break, before Salah got involved once more in the second half. This time the Egyptian played provider, assisting Virgil van Dijk.

Salah gathered a ball that was sent out of the box by the Wolves defense. He then looped in a pass and found van Dijk for a sliding volley in the 69th minute.

The Reds face Newcastle in another Premier League bout at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Anfield in Liverpool, England.
