Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Manchester City will be without star midfielder David Silva for a few weeks -- including Wednesday's Champions League clash -- due to a hamstring injury.

Sky Blues manager Pep Guardiola told reporters on Tuesday that Silva will miss the final Champions League Group F game. Silva sustained the injury during a 2-0 loss to Chelsea on Saturday in London.

Manchester City will also be without Kevin De Bruyne, Danilo, Sergio Aguero, Benjamin Mendy and Claudio Bravo. But Silva's absence could be for a "few weeks," according to Guardiola.

"Silva not able, Kevin not able, Danilo not able, Sergio isn't ready," Guardiola said, according to ManCity.com

"[Silva will be out for] a few weeks. Last game he was substituted, not too big but he stops for a few weeks. Maybe he [Aguero] has a chance for the weekend."

City has 15 players available for the match against Hoffenheim, which is set for 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England.

The Sky Blues have already clinched a spot in the next round of the Champions League. The round of 16 draw is set for Monday in Nyon, Switzerland.
