Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Tottenham Hotspur advanced into the Champions League round of 16 after a 1-1 draw with Barcelona on Tuesday at Camp Nou in Barcelona.

Things looked bad for Spurs early on, as Ousmane Dembele put the La Liga power ahead with a goal in the 7th minute. But Lucas Moura saved the day by equalizing in the 85th minute, advancing the Premier League club into the next round.

"It wasn't easy," Spurs star Harry Kane said, according to TottenhamHotspur.com. "It looked like we were down and out. To turn it around in the way we did and to get a result here is incredible."

Dembele took off on a scorching breakaway for first blood. He dribbled the ball past midfield before coming up on right back Kyle Walker-Peters. He later slapped the ball ahead of the defender, beating him into the box.

He then faked a shot, forcing Harry Winks to the ground. He then blasted a shot into the far-post netting to beat Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris.

Kane had a huge hand in netting the late equalizer. The England star dribbled into the box on the left side before firing a cross into Moura, who tapped a shot past Barcelona keeper Jasper Cillessen for the final tally.
