Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Defender Marouane Fellaini brought down midfielder Mattea Guendouzi by pulling on his hair during Manchester United's 2-2 draw with Arsenal.
The play occurred in the 87th minute of the Premier League clash on Wednesday at Old Trafford in Manchester, England.
Fellaini was trailing a dribbling Guendouzi during the sequence. Guendouzi attempted to separate himself from the defender by pushing into him while touching the ball away. But as the two came together, Fellaini grabbed onto the back of Guendouzi's hair.
The Gunners midfielder fell on his back as the ball rolled away. Arsenal was given a free kick on the play but referees did not book Fellaini for the hair pull.

Other players took notice of the tactic, including Robert Huth. Huth received a three-match suspension in 2016 for pulling Fellaini's hair.
"Looks like I taught him well," Huth tweeted Thursday.
Shkodran Mustafi scored the game's first goal in the 26th minute for the Gunners. Anthony Martial hit the equalizer in the 30th minute before Marcos Rojo's own goal in the 68th minute gave Arsenal a 2-1 edge.
Jesse Lingard netted another Red Devils equalizer in the 69th minute.
United battles Fulham on Saturday before facing Valencia in the Champions League on Wednesday at Mestalla Stadium in Valencia, Spain. The Gunners have a Premier League bout against Huddersfield before a Europa League affair against Qarabag FK at 3 p.m. on Dec. 13 at Emirates Stadium in London.
