Nov. 14 (UPI) -- The United States Women's National Team wrapped up its unbeaten 2018 campaign with a 1-0 win against Scotland.

Alex Morgan scored the lone goal of the friendly on Tuesday at St. Mirren Park in Paisley, Scotland. The goal came on a long cross from Mallory Pugh in the 39th minute.

Morgan made a far post run during the sequence. Pugh picked her out while she was dribbling about 30 yards from the net along the right flank. The USWNT striker sent in a cross with her right boot. The pass bent in toward the incoming Morgan, who struck the ball for a right-footed volley into the far post netting.

The score was Morgan's 98th international goal. She has 25 goals in her last 26 games for the USWNT. Ashlyn Harris had her sixth career shutout in the victory.

"Hey fans, thank you for all of your support in 2018," Morgan said on the USWNT Twitter account. "Being undefeated is pretty awesome and coming away with a win in Scotland."
