June 28 (UPI) -- It's the summer of 2018 and Floyd Mayweather has added another piece to his collection of luxury items: an $18 million watch.

"This my new timepiece, it's called 'The Billionaire Watch,'"he wrote on the caption. "If you don't know about it, Google Billionaire Watch. That's $18 Million on the price tag. I bought this watch from the best jeweler in the world, hands down."

Mayweather's post had nearly 1 million likes as of Thursday morning. Mayweather lauded the jeweler and said he has purchased fine jewels from "every jeweler" in New York City, Las Vegas, Detroit, Houston and Miami.

The former boxer tagged himself in a photo from Hong Kong earlier this week. He said he was staying at the Peninsula Hotel. Mayweather said the presidential suite at the hotel costs $23,000 per night and is 4,000 square feet.

"People always ask me 'Floyd Mayweather, how do you still live such a lavish life without having to fight anymore?' The answer to that is easy, I simply tell them .... I Wasn't A [expletive] Hater!" Mayweather wrote on Instagram.

Mayweather topped the 2018 list of Forbes' highest-paid athletes. He raked in $285 million in 2018. He pulled in $275 in salary/winnings and $10 million from endorsements.

The Jacob & Co. watch debuted in 2015. It features 18K white gold and 260 carats of emerald cut diamonds.
