Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Manchester United star Marcus Rashford made a Crystal Palace defender look silly Saturday with a disgusting dribbling cut into the box.
The sequence occurred just three minutes into the Premier League matchup and led to United's first goal early in the game. United won the contest 4-0 at Old Trafford in Stretford, England.
Crystal Palace defender Joel Ward ran out to mark the 19 year old. Rashford tapped the ball with his right foot toward his own goal, before making a lightning-quick cut back toward the Crystal Palace goal. After beating Ward, he dished off a pass right by a pursuing Mamadou Sakho. United's Romelu Lukaku let the through ball glide through the box.
The pass found a trailing Juan Mata, who finished it low into the right side of the goal, beating goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.
Marouane Fellaini went on to add two scores for United. Lukaku capped off the win with a goal in the 86th minute for the home squad. Rashford had two assists in a single game for the first time in his United career during the victory. He now has five goals and nine assists this season.
"We tried to change some players and we did that with five [changes from the team that won in Moscow] and I think these five make the difference," United manager Jose Mourinho told reporters after the game, according to the team website.
"You could see [Antonio] Valencia, Phil [Jones], [Marouane] Fellaini, [Juan] Mata and [Marcus] Rashford were at a different stage than [Romelu] Lukaku and [Henrikh] Mkhitaryan, which is normal. But the combination worked well, the players coming from the bench also helped and we deserved the victory that we need."
United currently tops the Premier League table with a 6-0-1 record. Manchester City is in second place through seven games.
