Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Rangers star Josh Windass slid into his own manager Saturday in a 2-0 loss to Celtic in Scotland.
Windass was dribbling down the left flank just three minutes into the contest during the sequence. Two Celtic players intercepted him before he took a bump from Mikael Lustig. The clip sent him toward the grass and flying toward Pedro Caixinha. Windass drilled his manager's legs, sending him face-first onto the ground.
Caixinha jumped back on his feet and continued coaching the Scottish Premiership contest.
"There is nothing worse than losing against Celtic, it is a hard one to take," Rangers right back James Tavernier told the team website. "We have been here for a few years now and have lost more games than we have won against them, we need to improve and work harder."
Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths scored for Celtic in the victory at Ibrox Park in Glasgow.

"We could not get strong on the game in the way we wanted, but we balanced the game, and in the middle of the first half, we were having the game more in our favour, we were comfortable with it and it was a balanced game from there until half-time," Caixinha told the Rangers website.
