Aug. 20 (UPI) -- The Christian Pulisic experience brought another level of excitement Saturday when the American scored less than 22 minutes into a Bundesliga contest.

Pulisic netted the quick attempt in Borussia Dortmund's 3-0 win against Wolfsburg at Volkswagen Arena.

Mario Gotze found Pulisic running to his right and played him the ball into the box.

Pulisic, 18, took a couple taps with his right foot before splitting two defenders. He ripped a shot toward the far post and found side netting. Marc Bartra scored for Dortmund to make the score 2-0 before Pulisic got involved again.

This time he crossed a pass to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the third score of the game. The assist came after Pulisic dribbled into the box on the right flank. He curled in a cross on the ground that found Aubameyang's boot on the back post for an easy finish in the 59th minute.

Pulisic could be in for more exposure for Dortmund if Ousmane Dembele departs the squad. Dembele has been named in rumors for a possible transfer to Barcelona.

"We wanted to come out here today with a lot of confidence and show what we're all about and we were able to do that and get a nice win," Pulisic told reporters after the match, according to the Bundesliga website.

Pulisic now has six goals in 39 Bundesliga appearances.
