March 3 (UPI) -- His porcelain skin beamed in the Mexico sunlight as Conan O'Brien sported short shorts in a pickup soccer game.

The comedian went to the country to film Conan Without Borders: Made in Mexico for TBS. The segment aired on Wednesday night.

During one part of the show, O'Brien joins several locals playing their favorite sport on a dirt field. After showing off his lack of skills, O'Brien reveals he brought an unexpected guest.

"Guys I feel guilty," O'Brien said. "I don't feel like I'm helping the team as much as I should."

"Can I please get a friend to help your team," he asks his teammates.

O'Brien returns with Giovani Dos Santos of the Mexican National Team and Los Angeles Galaxy. The 27-year-old had 15 goals in 31 games last season for the Galaxy.

Dos Santos showed off his skills for the fans and even helped get O'Brien a goal. O'Brien said he paid the goalkeeper 5,000 pesos to let him score.

After the match, Dos Santos stuck around to take pictures with the fans and even present O'Brien with a national team jersey. He told O'Brien that he had to wear the shirt when Mexico plays against the United States National Team.
