Feb. 19 (UPI) -- It's definitely no secret that Cristiano Ronaldo knows how to find the net.

But don't sleep on his dynamite dribbling skills. Espanyol defender David Lopez found that out in brutal fashion Saturday, during a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid.

Just 26:34 into the contest, Ronaldo found the ball near the left corner. He decided to take it into goal on the baseline. He stared down Lopez before tapping the ball to his right with the outside of his right foot. Lopez's weight shifted to his left, but before he could fully commit, Ronaldo darted the ball back with his right foot through Lopez's open legs.

The elastic dribbling did not result in a goal, but it did send fans into frenzy at Bernabeu. Ronaldo has 14 goals and three assists in 17 games this season.

Real Madrid faces Valencia at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at Mestalla Stadium.
