Feb. 15 (UPI) -- This will look interesting on a résumé.
The Philadelphia Union is on the lookout to fill a new position, but it won't be in the front office or on the soccer pitch. The Major League Soccer franchise is looking to hire a "Chief Tattoo Artist."
"This is a one-of-a-kind, revolutionary position for an artist or shop to become the go-to place for the Union," the team said in a release. "Players, coaches, front office staff and even fans will come to you for their tattoos, Union related or not. Tattoos are for life, just like supporting a club, and we want you doing the work."
Interested applicants can email email@example.com with their résumés, portfolios, and/or links to their shops in order to show off their creations.
"This is an exciting initiative for all of us here at Philadelphia Union as we look to provide a revolutionary service for our players and front office, particularly those new to the area," Vice President of Marketing Doug Vosik said in the release. "Our hiring process begins immediately; we are looking for a partner with a wide variety of talents and skills, and someone who can offer a broad range including American traditional, as well as Japanese, realism, new school and more."
The Union finished as the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference last season with a 11-14-9 record.
