Chile scored twice in the first 11 minutes, endured a two-hour-plus weather delay, then held on to beat Colombia 2-0 Wednesday in Chicago to advance to the Copa America final.

Defending champion Chile will meet top-ranked Argentina for the title Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J. The teams met June 6 in their tournament opener, and Argentina emerged with a 2-1 win despite playing without star forward Lionel Messi.

Colombia will play the United States on Saturday in Glendale, Ariz., in the third-place match.

Charles Aranguiz put Chile on top in the seventh minute, and Jose Fuenzalida doubled the lead four minutes later. After the lengthy delay at halftime due to a thunderstorm, Colombia was reduced to 10 men in the 57th minute when midfielder Carlos Sanchez received his second yellow card.

Colombia finished with three shots on goal to Chile's four but couldn't get a shot past Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
