NEW YORK, June 2 (UPI) -- Brazil's brilliant soccer star Neymar Jr. is on a United States sports tour of sorts.
When he wasn't rubbing elbows with basketball legend Michael Jordan, as he laced up the duo's collaborative soccer boots, he was hitting the batting cage Tuesday. Neymar Jr. took the chance to get in some hacks with the New York Mets before its matchup with the Chicago White Sox at Citi Field.

But unlike his effortless, puppeteer-like, silky smooth ball handling, Neymar Jr. was anything but stoic in his stance.
Neymar Jr., 24, sported a No. 10 Mets jersey and wore a backwards cap. The lefty debuted a low and slow swing, missing numerous softly propelled pitches from Mets hitting coach Kevin Long.

"Very difficult for me," Neymar Jr. said through a translator, according to the Wall Street Journal's Andrew Beaton.
When he stepped out of the cage, the magic happened, as Neymar Jr. baffled cameramen with his baseball juggling skills.
