KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- First comes love, then comes marriage, a World Cup, a trade and a baby carriage.
On Monday, U.S. Women's National Team and FC Kansas City forward Sydney Leroux Dwyer announced via Twitter that her and husband Dom Dwyer are having a baby.
"Surprise," Leroux Dwyer wrote. "My plans have changed for this summer. @Ddwyer14 and I are so excited to announce..."
Dom Dwyer also posted a picture on Instagram saying: "Couldn't be happier to share this with the world. Coming soon...#LittleDwyer."
Dom Dwyer, 25, currently plays for Sporting Kansas City. Leroux Dwyer, 25, was traded Jan. 12 from the Western New York Flash to FC Kansas City. FC Kansas City traded forward Jessica McDonald, a 2017 second-round draft pick, and an international roster spot to Western New York for Leroux Dwyer.
