TEMUCO, Chile, June 20 (UPI) -- Deshon Brown must have been planning this for a while. After his Jamaican squad fell 1-0 to Argentina in Copa America Saturday, Brown busted over to star Lionel Messi for a quick selfie with his cellphone.
Brown ran over to Messi, placed his hand around his back and snapped the memorable shot in front of teammates.
Gonzalo Higuain scored in the victory. Saturday's match was Messi's 100th game for Argentina. Unlike his Barcelona teammate Neymar, who was banned from the tournament after a foul while playing for Brazil, Messi seems to be keeping a calm demeanor during competition.
Messi has scored once in three Copa America games so far.
