England faced off against Iran as part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on Monday. England won the Group B match 6-2. Iran's players did not sing the national anthem. Mass protests have erupted over Iran following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.
