Moments from 2017 World Series: Dodgers vs. Astros (63 images)

The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Houston Astros faced off for the 2017 World Series Championship. The two teams were tied going into Game 7 in Los Angeles where the Astros won 5-1 and took the prize.

The series kicked off at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on October 24 with the Dodgers beating the Astros 3-1. After Game 6 the series was tied 3-3 in Los Angeles. In the last game of the series In Dodgers Stadium the Astros beat the Dodgers 5-1 to claim the their first ever World Series championship. Following the game, Astros player Carlos Correa proposed to his girlfriend and she said yes.

The Astros made it to the World Series once before against the White Sox, however this is their first World Series win. The Dodgers hadn't been to the World Series since 1988.
