Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw reaches 3,000 career strikeouts as the Dodgers beat the Chicago White Sox 5-4 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Kershaw hit the milestone when striking out Vinny Capra in the sixth inning. The Dodgers stand at 55-32; the White Sox are 28-58.
