Nov. 20 (UPI) -- The St. Louis Blues have fired coach Mike Yeo.
St. Louis announced the move on Monday after the team's 2-0 loss to the Los Angeles Kings. Craig Berube has been named the Blues' interim head coach.
Yeo, 45, posted a 173-132-44 record in 349 games as the Minnesota Wild's head coach before joining the Blues in 2016. He posted a 73-49-11 record in three seasons with the Blues.
Berube joined the Blues in June of 2017 as an associate coach. He spent one season as the head coach of the Chicago Wolves in the American Hockey League before joining the Blues. He also spent 11 seasons working within the Philadelphia Flyers' organization. He served as head coach of the Flyers from 2013 to 2015.
Berube also spent 17 seasons as an NHL player, scoring 61 goals with 98 assists.
The Blues face the Nashville Predators at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
