Maple Leafs' Tyler Ennis scores after triple-spin

Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Tyler Ennis worked off the dizzy -- after spinning three times -- to score a goal in the Toronto Maple Leafs' 4-2 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The spinning tally came 13:01 into the second period of the victory on Monday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Ennis gathered a loose puck on the play on the right side of the net.

He spun away from Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky before skating behind the goal and spinning for a second time, sending Dubinsky out of the play. He then skated back to his original position, before spinning a final time while shooting the puck into the the left side of the netting. The shot beat Blue Jackets keeper Sergei Bobrovsky stick side for Toronto's first goal of the game.

"I was just trying to create offense," Ennis told reporters. "Trying to get down low. I think our line has been doing a good job of getting pucks in and working it low. I was really just trying to get an open shot and it was nice to see it go in."

The Maple Leafs tied the game on John Tavares' 13th goal of the season 4:19 later. Zach Hyman added two third period scores to give the Maple Leafs the home victory.
