PITTSBURGH -- Sidney Crosby scored at 1:48 of overtime Monday night at PPG Paints Arena to give Pittsburgh a 5-4 win over the reeling Philadelphia Flyers, but the Penguins lost No. 1 goaltender Matt Murray to an apparent leg injury in the second period. There was no immediate word on Murray's status.

Philadelphia (8-19-7) dropped its eighth game in a row (0-3-5), its longest losing streak since losing 10 straight in February 2008.
On the winner, Crosby chipped in a shot by Kris Letang. Pittsburgh (13-10-3) won its second in a row.
The Penguins tied it 3-3 with goals in the first two minutes of the third period on goals by Patric Hornqvist and Bryan Rust. After Michael Raffl restored Philadelphia's lead with 3:41 to play, Jake Guentzel forced overtime with his second goal of the night, tying the game at 4-4 with 1:04 left in regulation.
Philadelphia erased a 1-0 deficit with three unanswered goals in the second from Shayne Gostisbehere, Travis Konecny and Sean Couturier for a 3-1 lead.
Murray made 20 saves before he was helped off the ice at 15:39 of the second after Jakub Voracek bowled into him on a breakaway. Backup goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped eight of the 10 shots he faced.
Brian Elliott made 47 saves for Philadelphia.
Guentzel gave Pittsburgh a 1-0 lead at 16:03 of the first. Defenseman Justin Schultz started behind his net and carried the puck into the neutral zone, where he fed Guentzel with a soft lead pass.
Guentzel moved in from the right point and beat Elliott with a laser far side from the dot. Murray, who directed the puck to Schultz, got an assist, the second game in a row a Penguins goalie got a point.
Gostisbehere tied it 1-1 at 3:40 of the second during a five-on-three power play when his one-timer from the left circle made it through traffic and past Murray's glove.
Konecny broke the tie at 15:05 of the second when a shot from the right point by Dale Weise went in off him in front.
Less than a minute later, Murray left and was replaced by Jarry.
With 31.5 seconds left in the second, Couturier lifted a one-timer under the crossbar to give Philadelphia a 3-1 lead.
Hornqvist, who was tripped by Andrew MacDonald to draw a penalty, scored on the ensuing power play when he batted a rebound out of the air to close it to 3-2 at 1:07 of the third.
Crosby got an assist, extending his point streak to four games.
Just 39 seconds later, Rust tied it with a strong individual effort. In his end, he blocked a shot, setting himself up for a breakaway while being closely chased. Elliott made an initial stop, but Rust got his shaft on the puck to knock it in over the goalie.
Raffl gave the Flyers a short-lived 4-3 lead when he stole the puck in his own end and took off. He swooped in from the left point with Pittsburgh's Phil Kessel draped over him and cut across above the crease. Jarry missed with a poke-check and Raffle tucked it into an empty half a net with a backhand.
Guentzel tied it 4-4 when a point shot by Schultz went in off his body.
