Winnipeg Jets: Bryan Little signs six-year extension

The Winnipeg Jets signed forward Bryan Little to a six-year, $31.75 million contract extension, the team announced Thursday.

The contract extension includes a no-move clause through the 2019-20 season, which then becomes a modified no-trade clause, TSN's Darren Dreger reported.

Little, who was entering the final campaign of his five-year, $23.5 million contract, collected 21 goals and 26 assists in 59 games last season.

The 29-year-old Alberta native has logged 672 career games with the franchise since being selected with the 12th overall pick of the 2006 draft by the Atlanta Thrashers. He highlighted his time in Atlanta by netting a career-high 31 goals in 79 games during the 2008-09 season.

Little resides second in club history for points (432), second in goals (184) and fifth in assists (248).
