Nashville Predators forward Frederick Gaudreau signed a three-year contract, the team announced on Monday.

The contract is a two-way deal in 2017-18 and 2018-19, worth $650,000 at the NHL level and $70,000 at the American Hockey League level. The contract then becomes a one-way deal in 2019-20 worth $700,000.

Gaudreau notched one assist in nine regular-season contests last season before making his presence felt in the postseason. The 24-year-old Quebec native collected three goals in the first four games of the Stanley Cup Final against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Gaudreau recorded 25 goals and 23 assists in 66 games last season with Norfolk of the AHL.
