The Vancouver Canucks re-signed defenseman Evan McEneny to a two-year, two-way contract on Wednesday.

McEneny, 23, appeared in 64 games last season with Utica, the Canucks' AHL affiliate, and he finished ranked second among defensemen in goals (8), fourth in assists (15) and third in points (23). He played one game for the Canucks in 2016-17 and did not register a point.

The 6-2, 223-pound native of Hamilton, Ontario, was signed as a free agent by Vancouver on Sept. 13, 2012.
