Minnesota Wild restricted free-agent defenseman Gustav Olofsson agreed to terms on a two-year, $1.45 million contract, the team announced Monday.

Olofsson will receive $675,000 in 2017-18 and $775,000 in 2018-19.

The 22-year-old Swede had three assists and two penalty minutes in 13 games with Minnesota last season. He also had 24 points (six goals, 18 assists) in 59 games in 2016-17 with Iowa of the American Hockey League.

Olofsson was a second-round selection of the Wild in the 2013 NHL draft.
