New York Rangers recall F Tanner Glass, D Steven Kampfer

March 6 (UPI) -- The New York Rangers recalled forward Tanner Glass and defenseman Steven Kampfer from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League on Sunday.

Glass, 33, has six goal, nine assists and 86 penalty minutes in 57 games with Hartford this season. He leads the Wolf Pack in penalty minutes.

The 6-foot-1, 213-pound Glass has skated in 123 games over two seasons with the Rangers (2014-15 and 2015-16), registering five goals, eight assists and 164 penalty minutes. He owns 67 points (23 goals, 44 assists) and 622 penalty minutes in 500 career NHL games over parts of nine seasons with Florida, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Pittsburgh and the Rangers.

Kampfer, 28, has four goals, 15 assists and 44 penalty minutes in 43 games with the Wolf Pack. He has skated in one game with the Rangers this season.
