New York Islanders goaltender Thomas Greiss agreed to terms on a three-year contract, the team announced Monday.

Financial terms were not disclosed by the club, but ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports the deal is worth $10 million. Greiss has posted a 14-7-3 mark with a 2.25 goals-against average and .928 save percentage this season.

Greiss has provided stability in net for the Islanders (21-17-9), who are 5-0-1 in their last six heading into Tuesday's tilt versus the Washington Capitals.

The 31-year-old Greiss recorded a 23-11-4 mark in his first season with New York in 2015-16.

Greiss has a 73-48-18 mark with a 2.40 goals-against average and .919 save percentage in 155 career appearances with the San Jose Sharks, then-Phoenix Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins and Islanders.
