Tom Wilson delivers huge hit to Lubomir Visnovsky

WASHINGTON, April 22 (UPI) -- During an exciting game Tuesday night, Washington Capitals' Tom Wilson slammed New York Islanders' Lubomir Visnovsky in a huge hit, sending him off the ice.

Wilson was out of the penalty box for less than one minute when he threw his body into Visnovsky, putting him on his back.

Visnovsky was sent off the ice and Wilson was sent right back to the penalty box.

The Capitals beat the Islanders 2-1 in overtime. The series is now tied 2-2.
