Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Three of the San Francisco 49ers' four running backs suffered injuries during Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, with backup tailback JaMycal Hasty expected to have an extended absence due to a high ankle sprain.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters Monday that Hasty was ruled out for the foreseeable future because of the ankle injury. Hasty was injured late in the 49ers' 17-11 win over the Eagles and didn't return to the game.
