The Giants released Zeitler last week. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound offensive lineman started 16 games last season for New York.

Zeitler, 31, entered the league as the No. 27 overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2012 NFL Draft. He signed with the Cleveland Browns in free agency in 2017. He was then traded to the Giants in 2019 in exchange for Olivier Vernon.

He has missed just one start since 2014.

The NFL's negotiation window for free agents opens at noon EDT Monday. The free agency period officially starts at 4 p.m. EDT Wednesday. Zeitler is allowed to sign before Wednesday because he was released.
