Watch: Tom Brady reads 'Mean Tweets' on 'Jimmy Kimmel'

Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Critics got some digs in on Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady Thursday as part of the Mean Tweets segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The segment features celebrity guests reading disparaging tweets about themselves while they are filmed. Brady also was featured in a segment of Mean Tweets in January 2020, alongside Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Thursday's Mean Tweets segment began with Brady reading a tweet that said he looked like the kind of man who doesn't know how to use a wrench.

"That's kinda true," Brady responded.

Brady was then called a cry baby, ugly, a little girl and several expletives. One social media user even said he hopes Chiefs players break Brady's legs in the Super Bowl. Brady laughed off most of the slights, but was disturbed when one user targeted his dog in their mean tweet.

"Can we be real for a moment," another tweeter wrote. "Is there really anyone you'd rather see dropped in a vat of rendered bacon fat than Tom Brady?"
