Dec. 3 (UPI) -- The Seattle Seahawks now sit atop the NFC West after a tight win against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 21 of 31 passes for 240 yards, two scores and an interception in the 37-30 win at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Running back Rashaad Penny had 107 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in the win. Chris Carson had 102 rushing yards and a score for Seattle.

The Seahawks (10-2) trailed 17-10 at halftime before posting 17 points in the third quarter. The Seahawks scored 24 unanswered points in the second half to secure the victory and has now won five straight.
"I think we are playing great football, but we can play better," Wilson told reporters. "The thing is is that we are 10-2 and on top of the NFC West. We are in control. That's a great thing."
"I think this was an opportunity we missed and it's disappointing, but I think we were able to at least show a resilience," Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins said. "You are going to need to do that to win in December. If you do take care of business in December, you get a chance in January.
"That's really what we want to do."
The Seahawks punted on their first drive of the game, while the Vikings (8-4) had a six-play, 83-yard drive that ended with a 2-yard Dalvin Cook touchdown. Seattle tied the score on the following possession, with Carson running into the end one from a yard out.
Anthony Harris intercepted Wilson in the second quarter and had a 20-yard touchdown return to give the Vikings a 14-7 lead. The Seahawks got a 29-yard field goal from Jason Myers on their next drive. The Vikings closed out the first half with an eight-play, 46-yard drive. Dan Bailey capped off the drive with a 47-yard field goal, giving the Vikings a seven-point lead at the half.
Minnesota missed their chance to increase the lead after punting on the first drive of the second half. The Seahawks had a nine-play, 56-yard drive, ending with a Penny rushing score, to tie the game at 17-17.
Myers made a 29-yard kick on Seattle's next drive to give the Seahawks a 20-17 lead. Wilson hit David Moore for a 60-yard touchdown on Seattle's next drive for a 27-17 lead. He connected with Penny for a 13-yard score in the fourth quarter for a 34-17 edge.
Cousins threw a 58-yard touchdown pass to Laquan Treadwell on the following possession, making it a 10-point game. He threw another touchdown to Kyle Rudolph on the Vikings' next drive, making the score 34-30. Minnesota turned the ball over on downs and had a fumble on their final two drives. Myers made a 36-yard field goal to increase Seattle's lead to seven points down the stretch.
"Now it's finish time and we've got to do our job. We haven't really done anything yet," Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said. "But the finish [of the season] is there for us. With four games left, we have to make some noise and see if we can finish this thing off right."
The Vikings next host the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. EST Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and the Seahawks travel to face the Los Angeles Rams at 8:20 p.m. EST Sunday.
