May 24 (UPI) -- Tom Brady will skip voluntary off-season OTAs once again this season, following his sixth Super Bowl with the New England Patriots.

Brady also missed OTAs last season. The 41-year-old superstar completed 65.8 percent of his throws for 4,355 yards, 29 scores and 11 interceptions in 16 starts last season. He hasn't missed a start due to injury since the 2008 season.

The 14-time Pro Bowl selection is entering his 20th season. Brady has posted several videos and photos to social media this off-season, showing off his private workouts. Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman trained with Brady in early May, as he also did in 2018.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick is likely unconcerned with Brady's absence from the voluntary sessions. The fellow future Hall of Famer referenced the OTAs being voluntary when asked about Brady's absence in 2018.

New England completed its second session of OTAs on Thursday. The Patriots return to the off-season training program Wednesday and Thursday before a final session June 10 and 11.

"It's good to get on the field obviously," Belichick told reporters Thursday. "It has been a productive spring for us, a productive week. We were able to do some down and distance work here and work in the red area. That was good and we keep moving on to next week."
