Toilolo will provide veteran depth behind 49ers star tight end George Kittle. The 49ers also have tight ends Garrett Celek and Kaden Smith on the roster. Smith was a sixth-round pick by the 49ers in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Kittle, 25, made his first Pro Bowl in 2018 after hauling in a career-high 88 receptions for 1,377 yards and five touchdowns in 16 starts for the 49ers. He led all tight ends in receiving yards last season.
